Jaws was just a hungry fish!

Michael Coltham

We’ve all been there….tired and hungry….which leads to being Hangry.

Jaws was probably a parent…at their wits end working all day and then having to feed the family. Who wouldn’t be a bit Hangry in this situation.

Jaws was just misunderstood.

Until

Derrrrrr Dum……Derrrrr Dum……Der Dum Der Dum Der Dum

And then Jaws is no longer a hungry fish.

Jaws is a now psychopath……looking for someone to kill……just because he want to……he likes it…..it makes him feel alive…..and there is no escape….he is going to hunt you…..catch you….make you suffer…..and then kill you….and then he’s going to do it again.

And that is the power of music.

Jaws had no dialogue….no CGI….no getting into character….jaws was just a plastic model…..

until…..

Derrrrrr Dum……Derrrrr Dum……Der Dum Der Dum Der Dum

And then we felt the tension rising in us… we then felt the fear…..we then felt terrified…..

This is what I mean when I say,

𝐈 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬, 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐚𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐛𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐮𝐦 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐜

(Note: I am told that Steven Spielberg hated the music when John Williams played it to him. But John Williams asked Spielberg to pause judgement until he heard the music with the film…..the rest is history)
